SENIOR MANAGER - PROCUREMENT

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for inventory management and to ensure there is adequate and appropriate amount of stock levels for fulfillment to meet all operational key performance measures/indicators and required service standards
  • Ownership and implementation of procurement policies, objectives, plans, framework and processes and to develop and implement buying strategies to meet KPI, cost management and efficiency to ensure optimal inventory holdings
  • Develop and execute overall sourcing strategy, including development of existing supplier base, identification of alternate supply sources and enhancing product quality and product technologies to improve quality delivery to clients
  • Oversee, plans, directs, supervises daily functions and direct report’s activities
  • Ensure practices are in compliance to procurement policies, procedures, governance and standards
  • Maintain purchasing and supply planning parameters for data integrity and operation excellence
  • Conduct tenders/quotations, implement contracts, negotiate with vendors and manage vendors delivery performance
  • Ensure proper phasing in of new items & stock replenishment to minimizes obsolescence and expired products.
  • Liaising with customer on their requirements
  • Ensure training and competence of dept staff

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • SAP/MRP
