ST Logistics signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Singapore Business Federation to support workforce transformation in Singapore’s Wholesale Trade sector, including the supply chain sector.
The ceremony was graced by Alvin Tan, Minister of State for Trade and Industry and National Development, as Guest of Honour. STL CEO Loganathan Ramasamy was on stage alongside representatives from participating companies to commemorate the partnership.

The collaboration supports the Jobs-Skills Integrator for Wholesale Trade (JSIT-WST) initiative, which brings together industry, technology and employment partners to help companies redesign jobs, address skills gaps and build stronger talent pipelines.
For businesses in the sector, the initiative provides practical support to transform their workforce, including access to career conversion programmes, mid-career pathways and opportunities to learn from organisations that have successfully implemented job redesign and adopted new technologies.
As SkillsFuture Queen Bee for the supply chain sector, ST Logistics will share its workforce transformation experience and work with partners to strengthen capabilities across the broader supply chain ecosystem.
Mr Daniel Lian, Head of Workforce Development and Learning at ST Logistics, noted that effective workforce transformation is achieved when learning is closely aligned with operational needs.
“Companies benefit when training goes hand in hand with job redesign and new technologies. When workers are able to apply new skills directly at work, the impact becomes real and lasting,” he said.
