Manager - City Logistics (PS)


Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake supervision and guidance of a team of 5 or more mailroom specialists to generate a revenue budget of $4 – $5 million per year
  • Responsible for Courier & Mailroom contracts with Whole of Government (WOG). Ensure the teams managing these contracts execute all contractual obligations linked to contracts.
  • Engage diplomatically in active negotiation members of public and government officials
  • Coordinate between end users and vendors, maintaining the adherence to best practices and internal work processes
  • Provide operational and tactical direction and guidance to projects in a fast-paced environment for the P&L of the assigned account, leading and overseeing key influencing factors such as requirements gathering, project documentation, solution development of related projects
  • Communicate professionally with members of public and government officials
  • Prepare training materials and conduct professional toolbox and regular safety and coaching seminars to all company staff
  • Develop and provide standardized monthly statistical reporting of collated results
  • Ensure manpower deployment is planned well and orders are done ahead of time
  • Represent the company to direct meetings, pitch products and/or services persuasively for further business growth

Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Logistics or equivalent
  • At least 4-5 years’ experience in project management skills and capabilities
  • Sound understanding of supply chain logistics, RFID, inventory management work flow processes
  • Strong grasp in supply chain technology and logistics process design
  • Experience in people and team management, turnkey projects and system integration
  • Proficient in Visio, Microsoft Office, Power BI, Power App and MS Office suites
