Advancing Governance, Risk and Compliance Across the Supply Chain

18 Jun 2026

ST Logistics hosted a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Masterclass for its SME partners and SkillsFuture Queen Bee network, bringing together industry experts to strengthen supply chain resilience through effective risk management.

The session explored emerging risks affecting today’s supply chains, including modern slavery, sanctions compliance, conflicts of interest and third-party risk. Ms Benchee, Vice President of Business Assurance and Compliance, guided participants through key risk areas using practical case studies and real-world examples to highlight how organisations can strengthen governance and mitigate operational vulnerabilities.

Representatives from Howden shared practical insights into corporate insurance, risk transfer and claims management, while Professor Chen Kan from the National University of Singapore discussed the application of artificial intelligence in predictive risk management and its role in enhancing supply chain resilience.

The masterclass provided participants with practical knowledge and opportunities to exchange perspectives on strengthening governance, improving organisational resilience and preparing for an increasingly complex operating environment.
