The ASTAR–SSG Graduation Ceremony 2025 recognised individuals who have embraced new ways of thinking about how products and processes impact the environment across their entire lifecycle. Supported by SkillsFuture Singapore and graced by ASTAR Chief Executive Officer Mr Tan Kok Yam, the ceremony brought together learners, industry partners and leaders committed to building a more sustainable future.
Among the graduates were 14 colleagues from ST Logistics who successfully completed A*STAR’s Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) programme. Through a series of intensive sessions, participants developed a deeper understanding of the environmental impact associated with resource extraction, energy use, waste generation and opportunities for more sustainable practices.
The LCA methodology equips participants with a structured approach to evaluate and improve sustainability outcomes across operations. Beyond technical knowledge, the programme fosters a mindset shift towards more responsible and informed decision-making.
